- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Called them the day of my accident to file a claim. They never answered the phone. When I left a message, they never called me back. When I did (eventually) get my claim filed, they told me they don't care about a Police Officer's Report to determine liability. Had to ask myself: "What's the point of calling the police when you're in an accident then?" State Farm has zero common sense apparently. Direct opposite from their marketing efforts. - ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆I moved here from Athens, Ga. 2 mo.'s ago & my agent of 31 yrs. here in Ga. (Cindy Phillips, FABULOUS AGENT) called this agency & told them to contact me for 2 auto policies.I called them NUMEROUS TIMES & ALWAYS got a RECORDING!!! HOWEVER, I DID LEAVE MY phone # & I DO have a NEW answering machine ATTACHED to my HOME PHONE & IT WORKS. They told Cindy they HAD tried to contact me. I NEVER heard from them. SOO, I called Cindy & she called them & I FINALLY got a call from them. I was SSSOOOO frustrated in MY trying to reach them myself that I decided to go with another agency. GOD for bid I needed them for a claim!!! I DO NOT recommend this agency as they are VERY HARD to CONTACT FOR ANYTHNG!!!By Linda Ellington, July 30, 2017
- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★I have been paying WAY too much for car insurance for way too long and finally decided to switch companies and work with a local agent. I went through the online quote process - very fast and easy - and received a follow up email with the information I needed to move forward. My new rate is almost $50 / month lower than what I was paying before. Even if you don't go with State Farm, I highly recommend at least checking to see if your rate will be lower.
